: Coordinate services and repair of equipment by way of service contracts and safety requirements through the Army Materiel Command ( AMC), Tank Army Materiel (TACOM), and Directorate of Contracting (DOC). Performs duties as CEHC Modification Work Order (MWO) and Warranty Coordinator for Safety program. Perform CEHC readiness reporting consolidation and data reduction. Collects, compiles and equipment that is more cost effective than, or is beyond the in-house capability of, the shop. Responsible for planning establishing, implementing, administering an evaluating a safety and occupational health program covering maintenance support activities, as well as support facilities (building power plants). Advises top management, staff and operating officials on safety matters affecting the maintainer’s treatment facility. Serves as a principle point of contact for all repair issues for assigned equipment (s). Attends all executive level conference to support CEHC requirement for MRAP and safety equipment, also develops and adjusts plans and schedules. Conducts systems analysis of safety equipment or rapidly sub-systems to ensure proper DOTMLPF integration, program maintenance provisions.

Served as Command Sergeant Major of the 5th Engineer battalion with primary focus on Transformation and organizational re-design of the Battalion. Assisted, developed and managed the MTO&E list that outlined the personnel and equipment safety requirement programs for combat support and combat service support systems. Supervised the purchasing and equipment monitoring of organizational safety programs for seven subordinate Companies. Purchasing experience with monitoring safety requirement and safety hazard documents for all subordinate units depending on mission needs. Ensured word orders and service plans were correct and up-to-date. During deployment, personally researched, staffed and briefed Senior DOD, Congressional members, allied and other service staffs on the design of unsafe construction conditions and/or any un-safe act while commanding the Ironclaw Academy, graduating 900 soldiers annually. Performed data collection and compile reports to identify potential kill zones. Conducts training evaluation and assessment as it relates to training products and to oversee Interim Life Safety Measures to mitigate all Life safety Code violations and new equipment training; advised and provided problem solving recommendations to the Commander, concerning 900 Soldiers and Civilians. Developed and managed the organization training and professional development plan and programs earning the award of best battalion in the 16th Engineer Brigade while deployed in Iraq.

Served as the Action Officer for the initial design development of the Urban and desert training area to support the Army pre-deployment operational requirement. Assured data collection for instructional strategies from proponent schools and other organization to include; sequencing of learning events and objectives and safety plans. Managed safety training evaluation and assessment as it pertained to training products and the conduct of Mine Warfare in accordance with regulatory requirements. Assisted in the development of safety management plan and the joint responsibilities for life safety management plan for entire tour. Reviewed the quarterly assessment for compliance with the safety and life safety management plans and submits an annual management plan performance evaluation to the staff committee provided thumbnail sketches or layout work to illustrate materials when needed in settings for audiovisual presentations, or illustrated printed media. Complied reports on safety changes and identified known impacts. Assisted in developing technically and doctrinally sound instructional material for training programs. Provided technical guidance in the planning, researching, and implementing of education and purchasing warranty for new equipment. Ensured Training Support Packages (TSPs) and Programs of Instruction (POIs) were in compliance with the Mine Warfare clearing operations. Provided technical guidance and recommendation to supervisors and Coalition leaders as Subject Matter Expert. Developed training for the Royal Australian Engineer Forces in accordance with Army doctrine. Integrated Infantry Assault Pioneer training, current anti-personnel landmine and landmine protocol policy into relevant mine warfare subjects. Developed input to New Equipment Training Plans; new Tactics, Techniques and Procedures; and provided input to tests and evaluations and Materiel Fielding Plans.
