In this data analysis role, I had the freedom to creatively explore DI's extensive data warehouse of oil and gas production, permit, leasing, and rig data. I formulated my own research questions, QC'd the data, performed the analysis (generally using a combination of SQL, R, and Spotfire), created final visualization and presentations, and presented the results to clients. I also did much of the analysis and preparation for our CEO's public presentations.
