When I was a Freshman in College, I made a decision to try writing a hello world program in Ruby on Rails. It was after spending hours with a Ruby on Rails tutorial that I immediately changed majors from Graphic Design Management to Computer Science to begin my journey chasing my new found desire to be a full time developer.During this Journey I transferred schools from Carroll University to University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and began taking classes in Computer Science. I also signed up for a minor in Information Systems as I wanted to learn as much as possible from all the different perspectives of the software development life cycle. After Graduation I landed a Job working as a Software Quality Assurance Tester for Three Rivers Technologies where I have been able to test software. This have given me the opportunity to learn how to make better programs, learn to write automated software tests and given me real world experience with the software development life cycle.I still spend time most weekends to learn new technologies and practice programming wherever possible. I have made several project for both my own purposes and for use by others. It's through these experiences I have continued growing, learning and honing my craft to fuel that still existing desire of being a full time developer
