I led the training and certification program for Lean/Six Sigma at The Hartford developing their lean six sigma curriculum and actively teaching courses. In my tenure I taught over 3000 individuals and certified/mentored nearly 100 Green Belts and 20 Black Belts.• Lead for The Hartford's Center of Excellence Lean/Six Sigma training and mentorship program for Yellow, Green, and Black Belt candidates as well as Process Management disciplines.• Co-Developed The Hartford's Process Management framework (Lean Management System).• Developed and teaches The Hartford's Yellow, Green, and Black Belt curriculums as well as the Process Management curriculum.• Co-created and maintained the process improvement methodology for The Hartford’s operations process engineering group through 5 revisions.• Mentors new process engineers on proper DMAIC application and process engineering techniques.

Process engineer supporting The Hartford’s transformation strategy. I Lead six sigma (DMAIC) and design for six sigma (DMADV or DICOB) projects in call centers, transaction processing, and sales groups. Notable Accomplishments:• Successfully led and completed 6 Black Belt projects over 3 years resulting in improved customer outcomes, reduced waste in processes, and realized expense savings of $1.2M / year.• Leads multiple six sigma projects across The Hartford. Some select examples include projects in Retirement Plan Services (30% lead time reduction and 15% operating cost reduction), Document Control Services (50% lead time reduction and 30% capacity gains), Group Benefits Billing (yearly operating cost reduction of 30%).• Led design for six sigma projects in Individual Annuities and Commercial Mid-Market Insurance leveraging robust in person VOC analysis. Additionally leveraged direct observational research to identify key delighters for agents and brokers working with The Hartford.

Supported plant wide process improvement efforts. Led and supported DMAIC and root cause analysis projects in polishing and packing processes. Supported plant wide 5S initiative and lead 5S cell implementations.

Supported manufacturing operations for Covidien site. Duties included development of operations / quality testing procedures and general operations support.
