I worked at Charter Communications as a Systems Engineer in the Video Operations group. Responsibilities included managing the hardware/virtual infrastructure for both lab and production environments. Additionally, we managed common tools, applications and databases, including Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible, MongoDB, Postgres, Redis and Consul. As the acting team lead, my primary responsibilities included scoping, prioritizing and assigning tasks utilizing both Scrum and Kanban.

I worked as a Senior Engineer on the content delivery network storage platform development team. Our team was responsible for developing a viable storage solution using a clustered file system. A few of my responsibilities included: developing and maintaining a billing system, interfacing with our clustered file system provider and ongoing operation support of the storage platform.

Our project was responsible for delivering operational back office systems to support the emerging mobile phone market in Europe and the Canada. We initially converted a legacy mainframe cellular carrier billing system to a client server architecture and ported current customers to the new environment for existing carriers in Lisbon and Brussels. Later we supported the launch of three new companies in Spain, Portugal, and Canada using our back office suite of applications. I worked on a front end customer care entry application, and led a team of approximately 20 developers who were responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, and supporting the application. This required extensive integration with other parts of the system, and we worked collaboratively across the program to ensure each component part of the system worked together.
