During my progression from Product Engineer I to Product Engineer III, I developed a foundation of knowledge and experience of the battery making process and battery design. I utilized my chemistry and chemical engineering background to help improve the batteries performance to meet OE and Aftermarket customer requirements. Main accomplishments include:• Supervised and lead several OE and aftermarket battery builds, in our manufacturing plants, which included; grid making, oxide development, plate pasting, plate analysis, battery assembling and forming batteries.• Communicated with Original Equipment (OE) customer, on several occasions, to review and discuss battery specifications and drawings, design options, test schedules, test results, quality documents, tear down analysis and battery sample shipments.• Created and managed lab testing, from start to end of life, on all assigned OE program launches. Analyzed, summarized, and communicated all design and process validation results to management and to the respective customer. • Team lead in battery design reviews to approve design validation builds using tools such as root cause analysis, design failure mode and effect analysis, design of experiment, Kepner-Tregoe, Six Sigma, and modeling.

Performed and documented routine testing via Atomic Absorption Spectrometry and UV/VIS Spectrophotometry in the areas of raw materials, stability, and finished products.Supported the project team in the preparation of relevant methods, SOPs, protocols, reports, and documentation concerning chemical and drug product specifications. Supported development team by performing and documenting project oriented and routine testing for new product projects.
