The Harrison County Reserve Division is invaluable to the operation of the Sheriff's Office. The officers provide extra manpower when needed, assist on special details, and enhance the ability of the Sheriff's Office to provide the best service possible to the citizens of Harrison County.

Federal Court Security Officer for the USMS under the Western Kentucky District

* As a deputy I have used my integrity, problem solving, and crisis management skills to perform a variety of duties to include Public Safety Officer (cross trained as an EMT-B and volunteer fire fighter), felony crimes investigator, crime scene technician, Special Response Team member, and first line supervisor.* As a result I assisted prosecutors with successful prosecution of criminals and assisted leadership with their goals and mission statement objectives, as well as, provide the best customer service possible for the community.* Currently assigned to the Court Services Division.* Known as a trustworthy person in the community, and one with impeccable integrity.

* Provide a dedicated focal point for all readiness, health, morale, welfare, and quality of life issues within organization of 64 personnel.* Build & maintain a mission-ready force to execute home station & expeditionary mission requirements.* Advise Commanders, Command Chiefs, & other enlisted Airmen on morale, discipline, mentoring, well-being, recognition, & the professional development of enlisted Airmen.* Ensure the enlisted force understands the commander's policies, goals, & objectives. Ensure support agencies are responsive to Airmen needs. * Conduct quality force reviews on all enlisted performance reports, decoration recommendations, & other personnel actions.* Work with fellow senior non-commissioned officers (SNCOs) & supervisors, to ensure equitable & effective discipline, & the highest level of esprit de corps.* Work closely with the command Chief Master Sergeant to prepare the organization's enlisted force to best execute all assigned tasks.

* As a Sensor Operator (SO) crew member with over 500 hours in a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) I employ airborne sensors to actively &/or passively acquire, track, & monitor airborne, maritime & ground objects in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, while conducting reconnaissance & surveillance of potential targets and areas of interest for ground force commanders, and provide air to ground fire support, which resulted in zero friendly force losses. * Detects, analyzes & discriminates between valid & invalid targets using synthetic aperture radar, electro-optical, low-light, & infrared full-motion video imagery, & other active or passive acquisition & tracking systems.* As a former assistant flight chief my duties involved mentoring young Airmen, team building, problem-solving, and provide mission briefings.* Briefed / instructed the Wing and squadron members on active shooter procedures. Approximately 300 personnel were instructed, which resulted in an increase of situational awareness.

* Was awarded distinguished graduate at the Combat Arms Apprentice Course for high rifle shooter award.* As a CATM Instructor my duties included training the base populace on small arms weapons systems.* Briefed the base commander on strategic weapon system placement during increased threat level conditions, which resulted in an effective base defense plan, and an increase in situational awareness for all.

* As a security forces member, performed many duties to include area supervisor, drug testing investigator, and CATM instructor. * Participated in Operations NOBLE EAGLE and FUNDAMENTAL JUSTICE, which consisted of transporting approximately 220 detainees in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. My input, as well as, my teammates were vital in creating the standard operating procedure (SOP) for this mission, which resulted with mission success and no incidents, which has never been done during a large scale military operation in history until then. * Deployed to Eskan Village, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were I used my critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assist with a criminal investigation with the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigation's special agent.

And 22nd Marine Expedition Unit, Special Operations Capable, from Feb 1995-Dec 1996 as a machine gun team leader than section leader.
