I work to provide my clients with business funding certainty. I do this with the team at Conatus, through working hard and fast to understand our clients business, their challenges and issues, to then identify and help implement solutions. I have also undertaken interim or permanent exec and non-executive board roles and I am currently looking to expand my NED portfolio.We draw on the experiences across the team of having worked in many different sectors ourselves, such as hospitality, automotive, legal, banking, medical and retail as well as through our work with clients, which has covered almost every sector, especially tech and the care sector. Help is available to source every type of business finance and we’re authorised through the FCA for finance broking and debt restructuring. We also work closely with clients who are trying to grow to help them achieve their business and personal goals or we may be called upon to help if they’re experiencing difficult times and have a business in distress. In addition, we have a strong bookkeeping team who function as an outsourced internal accounts department for our clients. Sometimes on the basis of temporary cover or filling a gap in a clients accounts team, for others we function as their full internal accounts operation. As well as working smart and using the latest cloud based systems, as well as other systems such as Sage, we pride ourselves on producing meaningful monthly reporting that our clients want to read and always understand. On a personal level, I have undertaken various voluntary roles and I am currently Chair of trustees for Community Action Suffolk. When I’m not working, I love training for triathlons, running, outdoor swimming, shooting and most outdoor sports. I love to enjoy sports with others and helping them which led to me becoming a qualified UK Athletics run coach.
