Kev is the director and founder of Wilkinson Engineering, a company that specializes in CNC machining, mechanical fitting, welding, and fabrication. With 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, has a proven track record of delivering high-quality and reliable services to a diverse range of clients, including multinational oil and gas, mining, earthmoving, and marine companies.Kev started his career as an apprentice fitter machinist, learning from some of the best old-school machinists in the business. He then expanded his skills and knowledge by working in various sectors and regions, including offshore oil and gas, where he worked as a rig mechanic, machinist, mechanical fitter, and motorman contractor. Wilkinson Engineering was then established in 2008 with a vision to provide top-quality service and a personal approach to every project. He also founded Austalloy, a specialist engineering bar stock supply company that stocks a large range of engineering steels and alloys in Darwin.Kev is passionate about apprenticeships and quality training, ensuring the future of the company and the industry.
