Kevin enjoys a busy career as a conductor in the South of England. Kevin currently conducts Southampton Youth Concert Sinfonia, Southampton University Concert Band and Southampton University Strings, and is Assistant Dirctor of Southampton Youth Orchestra. Kevin has also held the prestigious post of Assistant Conductor of Southampton University Sinfonietta, a year after being awarded the position as Assistant Conductor of Southampton University Symphony Orchestra.Kevin has also taken rehearsals, sectionals and appeared as a guest conductor with ensembles including Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra, London Gay Symphony Orchestra and City of Southampton Orchestra, and has upcoming engagements currently being planned with Sussex Symphony Orchestra and North Downs Sinfonia.

Kevin has also enjoyed success as a part-time composer, having already had two of his compositions performed - 'Requiem Mass' (Worthing, 2010) and 'Gloria' (Worthing, 2013 and Southampton, 2014), both large-scale pieces for choir and orchestra.

Kevin began learning trombone at the age of 13, and achieved his Grade 8 five years later. He studied trombone as his first instrument at university. It was here that Kevin began to gain experience in other brass instruments, particularly French horn and euphonium, as well as gaining experience in the percussion section.Kevin has toured several European countries in the brass and percussion sections of various ensembles, and is in demand as a dep musician with several orchestras, wind bands and brass bands across the south coast.
