He has worked for the company full time since 2006 when he also joined the board. He took on the role of the Chief Operating Officer in 2008. In 2011, he and co-founder Bob Thomas in conjunction with a grant from the CEC published a series of reports on Iopara Inc.s modeling of H-type VAWTs and the Coupled Vortex Effect. Wolf was instrumental in reorganizing the company and securing its Series A round of financing. He took over supervising engineering team in 2015 while continuing to work on business development and public relations. He wrote a number of articles on the potential for installing VAWTs in the understories of wind farms.

Wolf became the first CEO.. He was replaced by Bob Thomas over a disagreement on a $5M investment Wolf had brought to Wind Harvest. He continued on the board and took the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Wolf and Associates specialized in consensus-based facilitation of strategic planning, environmental dispute resolution and public processes as well as expert advice on how to organize and plan to achieve identified milestones. One of his clients was the Wind Harvest Company with whom he started consulting in 1999. Wolf and Associates also used open-source software to develop web based libraries and portals for clients. The web portal part of the business is now being run by David Sieband. The www.wolfandassociates.com website is still live so that people can use the consensus-based faciltiation manuals.and agendas he put into that public domain through a Create Commons copyright.
