Current• STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND PLANNING: Responsible for prioritizing and implementing initiatives throughout of multiple departments throughout the company based on long-term roadmaps and short-term successes including new product development, process improvement, maintenance/facilities projects, executive priority projects , strategic use of database systems, and general company improvements.• EXECUTIVE INTERFACE AND COMMUNICATIONS / PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Involved in corporate goal setting, planning and decision making. Communicates and proactively coordinates managers, teams, and personnel for proper emphasis of roadmap/goals and executive domestic and international communications. Prioritize daily, project, and long-term goals for engineering, production, and maintenance concerns while coordinating company initiatives.• TEAM AND TALENT DEVELOPMENT: Determined workforce requirements, recruited/hired employees, created talent pipeline / training systems within production, engineering, and maintenance departments. Directed all areas of engineering within the facility for necessary controls and improvements, including: new product development, manufacturing / process / inventory improvement, cost estimation and budget maintenance, safety / facility ergonomics.• KEY CUSTOMER / VENDOR INTERFACE: Executive decision-maker involved in important customer conversations, partnership building, estimated production capabilities, estimated costs, define schedules and capacity to take on made-to-order projects. Oversaw effective communication of goals and requirements to vendors.
