While at PAR I have performed in multiple roles. I started working as a Senior Software Analyst, and later took on the role of scrum master for multiple teams. I have worked in both Scrum and Kanban. In my role as Software Development Manager, I take with me all that I have learned as a software developer, and as a scrum master. I believe strongly in people and in a strong working team. I classify myself as a servant leader. I will always encourage my team to pursue what we as a team feel is the right thing, and to speak openly to myself and the rest of the team, with respect, but without fear. An able, enabled team is the best thing that a company can have. If I make myself obsolete, then I did it right.

I created multiple in-house applications for various departments including finance, construction, and HR. I was responsible for maintaining my own applications as well as the applications that I inherited from other developers. I met with internal users, gathered information, constructed mock-ups based on such information, and worked with the end user to produce products that fit the needs of the end user. I developed reports in Excel, both with functions, and vba.
