Responsible for overall leadership and management of all airport operations and business functions providing direction, coordination, planning, supervision, and customer service for the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (YVRA). Manages the operations, maintenance, and development of the YVRA to ensure efficient, safe, and orderly airport operations for the public and the air transportation industry. Responsible for development of the annual budget request and management of the YVRA budgets providing budgetary guidance for all airport functions including the fixed asset inventory. Directs, plans, organizes, administers, and markets aviation business activities. Represents the Yampa Valley Airport Commission (YVAC), and Routt County in local, state, and national air transportation matters. Coordinates aviation needs and airport development with federal, state, and local agencies, airport tenants, community groups, aviation, and local industries. Takes responsibility for and ensures open communication and coordination of commercial, general aviation, and fixed base operator activities among all airport and community stakeholders, the YVAC, and Routt County.
