It discussed the concept of "signal vs. utility" in communication: that most messages both provide utility to the owner and signal something to others. While I’m not a huge fan of the term "signal," I love the idea of sharing. So, here’s a little about me.My Goal:I aim to make people laugh, smile, or have a better day with what I create. Driven by this, I founded Height Advantages, a video production company.What I Do Now:As the owner of Height Advantages, a media strategy company based in Minnesota, I specialize in real estate video production for small to medium-sized businesses. Our team includes photographers, drone pilots, and videographers who focus on creating meaningful, engaging content—because boring content? It just doesn’t work. We aim to make high-quality content accessible to everyone who wants it.In addition, I work as a Production Coordinator on commercial video shoots, where I handle logistics, talent, budgets, and permits to keep everything on track. I've worked with clients like Best Buy, Delta, and Intuitive Content, known for shows like Family Dinner with Andrew Zimmern and Zoë Bakes with Zoë François.Other Interests:Though my background isn’t in urban planning, I’ve always been fascinated by city design and planning. As a child, I created paper models of buildings and streets with Hot Wheels and Sharpies. Today, I continue learning about urban development through books, studies, and organizations like Strong Towns, Azure, and Not Just Bikes.The 4-Day Workweek:I’m also an advocate for the 4-day workweek, which I implemented in my business after seeing the benefits for mental health and overall happiness. My mission is simple: to make people smile, laugh, or have a better day. That’s the mindset I bring to work every day.So, What Do I Do on My Extra Day Off?In a word—learn!
