    Mr. Alft was an Executive at Vermeer Manufacturing Company of Pella, Iowa. In August of 1997, Mr. Alft joined them as the Director of the Advanced Control Systems Product Group where he lead the start-up of the electronics and software division that grew from 0 to $24 million in four years. Vermeer Manufacturing Company is a privately held Global manufacturing and service based business. Mr. Alft held numerous positions of increasing responsibility throughout his 9 year tenure. From 2004 until he left to pursue opportunities with ActionCOACH, he was the Vice President of Underground Installation Solutions. In this role he had full accountability for all aspects of the Underground Installation Solutions and Specialty Excavation Business Segment including strategy, sales, P&L, product development and support and driving profitable growth. This business segment accounted for more than $300 million in revenue. Drove a dramatic sales increase of over 50% in fiscal 2005 while nearly tripling profit dollars and increasing market share in all product lines. In parallel with the business segment responsibilities, he had responsibility for all Industrial Product Line Global Customer Accounts, the establishment of a product development and manufacturing entity in Beijing to provide products and services to the Asian market, and was the Executive Team sponsor of the project to expand the distribution network capabilities by improving presence in the marketplace and the structure of the dealerships.Mr. Alft left Vermeer Manufacturing in March of 2006 to pursue his business interests.
