In my current role at Tate & Lyle, I oversee and manage our FBS business with Nestlé in Europe, as well as managing the Global Coordination of this account, working with my colleagues and Nestlé contacts, across our global markets.I am drawing on my deep operational knowledge of our own business, gained through my previous T&L roles in Planning and Product Management, as well as Operational & Planning roles from previous companies, to best serve Nestlé with the ingredients solutions they need to drive and grow their business.

I am the sole Demand Planner responsible for forecasting all products across all regions of the global business. Space Brands is a small but fast growing company and as such I am installing forecasting practices from scratch, developing an S&OP process and more generally identifying and implementing improved ways of working throughout the Planning Team.

Demand planning for Skin Cleansing, one of the biggest categories in Unilever, the market leader for shower gel in the UK. Responsible for brands including Radox, Lynx, Dove and Simple and a forecast in excess of 200 million units per year across approximately 250 active SKUs in UK & Ireland. Using expertise and a range of reporting tools & systems to analyse sales and forecast data; identifying trends to generate an accurate and unbiased forecast for an 18 month rolling horizon. A pivotal figure in running the monthly S&OP process for the category, leading cross-functional meetings with senior managers and directors and presenting the intricacies of the volume forecast to the wider business team to better understand its subsequent impact on the financial forecast.Additional responsibility as a demand planning lead user which entails developing projects to advance the demand planning function within Unilever across all categories. Co-ordinating the implementation of best-practice processes with the wider planning community to improve the organisation’s forecasting performance. Currently responsible for developing and implementing innovation forecasting best practice for all twenty five demand planners in Unilever.Key achievements• Achieved ‘sustained high performer’ (SHP) status in 2013, formal recognition by Unilever of key talent to be earmarked for accelerated career development.• Delivering a strong category bias score for UK/IRE of within +/– 5% for the past two years• Leading and implementing the forecasting element of Unilever’s Ireland Simplification Project, driving improved efficiencies and resource savings through use of statistical forecasting.• Successful merging of new brands (Simple, Radox) into existing supply chain structure as a key member of acquisitions project team.
