I provided a combination of network support, network administration, and IT consulting for local and out-of-state clients and built network of contacts in the SMB community. I created a vCIO (virtual CIO) service for Ohio-based manufacturing clients, focusing on IT project management, strategic planning, and cost-saving and performance-enhancing initiatives such as vendor consolidation, IT team building and training, and infrastructure upgrades. Projects included migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange, implementation of Citrix solutions for remote access / support, and blade server implementations for improved server uptime for 24x7 environments.
