During my second tour of duty with Waste Management, I was responsible for contract negotiations and pricing models to ensure a proper EBITDA and sound company profit margins. In fact, I was in charge of all State, Local and Municipal contracts in the States of Delaware and Maryland and won a $6.2 million contract award in less than 6 months on staff.I maintained a relationship with Key contract employees and our operations team to ensure quality service and delivery, and promoted our services to prospective clients. I was proud that I shaped the values of the decision makers and the process by which contracts were awarded.I sharpened my revenue generating or "rainmaking" capabilities that my current turnaround clients enjoy today.

I worked as Sales Manager for an Independent Waste Removal Company serving Delaware and Maryland. As a key employee of this startup operation in 2001, we built the company with customer service as its mainstay. Over 9 years, we developed a strong reputation in the industry while becoming a market leader in developing innovative solutions to growing environmental concerns. For instance, our Single Stream curbside recycling service was the first service of this kind to be offered by any hauler in our area. Initiallly I served as a sales representative in charge of developing a commercial client base, prospeciting and developing a significant portion of the revenue stream, maintaining high retention rate. Ultimately I was appointed the Sales Manager role, in charge of Sales, Customer Service and Credit and Collections. Route Profitability analysis and its relationship to overall profitability were analyzed and necessary adjustments were made to maintain a profitably entity. This profitability analysis would serve me well in my career as a turnaround management expert.I also played a pivotal role in assisting the President with the sale to Waste Management of DE, Inc.
