Within this role I work with multiple stakeholders across several geographical locations and disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Finance. Frequently dealing with layers of ambiguity and unfamiliar technology standards. Developing the IT/OT integration and support strategy for Europe in consultation with internal teams and MSP. Working throughout the business to identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous operational improvement. Managing all IT budgets, people, assets, resources and support activities. At the front of Encyclis demerger from Covanta US including full RFP process to select new technology landscape and digital transformation including new MS tenancy, ERP (D365) implementation, WAN migration, systems integrations and iPaaS evaluation. Working with the Project Management Team based in Morristown, New Jersey, US to manage the entire IT infrastructure implementation for Ireland's largest 80MW Energy from Waste (EfW) power generating facility based in Poolbeg, Dublin. A complete green field project and one of the largest construction projects in the state I was hired to guarantee the successful IT build out and ongoing support of the Dublin plant. From MPLS and INT installation to MDF & IDF ( Main Data Frame - Intermediate Data Frame ), Voice, Cloud and Client Engineering. Overall IT Management of Main Construction Contractor, 3rd Party Vendors, Managed Service Provider and Utilities. Infrastructure roll out, maintenance and support to Ireland and UK plant startup projects.

I supported all IT systems in the Dublin office including Finished Art Studio, Post Production and Creative technologies. The office runs Win 7 for PC (LANDESK) users and there is a large quantity of staff (approx 100) working on MAC OSX (JAMF Casper Suite). I was employed by Ogilvy to provide systems administration and desktop support services to all users in the Dublin office. I work across various support teams based out of EMEA and North America. Initially when I started with Ogilvy we ran Suse Linux 9.0 on IBM X Series and IBM Blade Servers.We had 2 DC’s using OpenLDAP.
