I program drum machines, dial in some fat sounds on Diva/Sylinth/ Mini Moog/ Korg Legacy synthesizers to name a few and mix a lot lately with Harrison's Mixbus workstation. I'm using Propellorhead Reason via Rewire to Cuckos Reaper whenever I start a new project. I use MIDI control keyboards & a joystick for X-Y. I dedicated this year to learning my tools/gear thru & thru & It's paying off. In addition to learning U-HE's Diva & Zebra synths, I've also spent lots of time buried in manuals for Sonnox Oxford plugins & trying to wrap my head around the k-14/k-18/k-20 specfications. The plan is to put out "Party At Clandestine Palace" during spring break 2014 to coincide with the launch of Empire Alley Productions (a boutique imprint, licenced by Hastings Records to put out my music.)

Hastings Records is an independent record label out of East Vancouver, BC Canada. Kevin Bouzane founded the company in 2005. The launch of a rap label during the Myspace era allowed for the opportunity to put out product without a budget (Kevin was homeless, staying at Salvation Army's Belkin House and during the day he was at Internet cafes posting tracks for The Crank LP). Online Poker Company 'Full Tilt Poker' set up a huge operation in Canada & executed a well developed subsidiary to handle the commerce (The Bush Administration passed a bill which rendered real money online gaming a class c felony). It was a pleasure working graveyard shifts for Tiltproof for $16/hr. Work consisted of assisting 1st time depositors with setting up a preferred payment processor method such as Neteller, Click2Pay, Nexus, Visa/MC etc. The best part is there was such a great working environment, never a dull moment. I got fired for getting carried away with my free money account (I put 300 million free chips in my acct, played 8 hrs of online poker at work + went home to play again some more while drinking a 5th of Tequila every day from 8-11am). I eventually got my shit together to pursue my ambition to produce music but must say I owe much gratitude to FTP for hiring me.
