Team as Director of Special Events in early 2020 (just a month or so before COVID hit). I was responsible for the planning and execution of all SOAR! events, large and small. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, I was called upon to produce four very successful virtual galas for SOAR!, the 34th and 35th Annual SOAR! New York Dinner in September 2020 and 2021 and the 34th and 35th Annual SOAR! DC National Galas in November 2020 and 2021. All four virtual galas exceeded the net profit revenues normally raised at the traditional, in-person events. The hope is for SOAR! to return to in-person dinners and galas in the Fall of 2022. About SOAR! Supporting Our Aging Religious, Inc.: The mission of SOAR! is to raise and provide funds for religious congregations to meet immediate needs of their retired and infirm members, to educate the public about the serious retirement needs confronting elderly religious and to develop a national network of concerned individuals who wish to respond to this ever-increasing need. SOAR! brings together people from all religious denominations whose lives have been touched by the unparalleled contributions of Catholic Sisters, Brothers and Priests.
