Principal Support Engineer
CurrentIn this role my primary responsibilities involve the maintenance and fault resolution of MFX for z/OS and ZEN related products on the IBM System Z platform. I also provide general z/OS and platform support internally, a further breakdown of my duties are as follows:• Diagnose and resolve faults with customer applications.• Identify new errors/ enhancements and work with our developers to provide new solutions.• Liaising with internal sales and accounts teams to resolve customer queries and portal issues.• Fault escalation and SLA management with an emphasis on customer communication. • Maintaining internal z/OS & z/VM systems with a primary focus on IBM Communications Server and security related activities.• Ongoing projects concerning hardware and software upgrades, internal system migrations and testing new solutions that enhance the customer experience.Company Info:Precisely is a global leader in data integrity, providing accuracy and consistency in data for 12,000 customers in more than 100 countries, including 90 percent of the Fortune 100.
