Selected projects include: • Redesigned a financial services firm’s close, consolidation, and reporting process, resulting in reducing the monthly closing cycle from 17 days to 6; improved utilization of existing systems and reporting functionality; created a close schedule, new accrual guidelines and methodologies, and reduced data entry and other manual processes.• Created a financial model for one of Chicago’s financial exchanges that allowed the exchange to perform what-if scenarios during its strategic planning process and served as a valuable link between the strategic plan and the annual budget. Model produced pro-forma income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements based on various scenarios.• Managed implementation of web-based budgeting system at real estate management firm. Tasks included managing client and vendor resources, overseeing the design data load procedures, creation of web interface, testing, and communicating with client executives.
