There is untapped inventiveness in us all — and it is too often muffled by everyday pressures, doubts and business cultures. Creativity brightens the place; it sheds light on possibility. I started PermissionToPlay to try to help people unlock some of that shine. As a marketing strategist and director, I was parachuted into big organisations going through big changes, from mergers or break-ups to rapidly moving markets. That experience taught me that the most fundamental impact I could make was to help those teams develop the skills and confidence to unlock their own creative potential. PermissionToPlay is about building a culture where innovation and creativity can flourish. We do this by creating coached innovation programmes, workshops and online learning, where people are given the tools, techniques and freedom to learn and experiment. I get a buzz from building these programmes and seeing people grow. But it’s only made possible though fruitful collaborations. Your team would play an important part in shaping how others can learn and benefit. We are looking for teams of 10-30 participants keen experiment with innovation. • We use experts across a kaleidoscope of fields for key sessions, from behavioural psychology to biology. Help us share inspiration and insights from your field though video or in-person talks. • I also offer one-to-one coaching and mentoring to a handful of aspirational individuals.
