While we are highly skeptical of financial products - especially those manufactured by large financial institutions - we enjoy several relationships with boutique real estate, credit, venture capital and alternative investment managers. These firms work with us due to long standing relationships and shared investment philosophies. While these alternatives are generally a modest percentage of a client’s overall asset allocation, we’ve found them to be excellent diversifiers in low interest rate environments.
