Once at the heart of Industrial Seattle, Fremont was the working waterfront and located in what is now commonly referred to as the “Center of the Universe”, adjacent to iconic cultural projects like “Waiting for the Interurban” and Seattle’s own Troll, and now several blockbuster building projects, The Brooks Running HQ Building, Tableau’s NorthEdge and Data One buildings The Fremont Northshore Building is steps from amazing cultural amenities, outdoor spaces, including Gas Works Park and Lake Union.Having successfully developed the Blue Rooster Building, adjacent to the current project. Blue Rooster Building was a light manufacturing facility and converted into commercial and retail spaces in 2008. Five Zero Nine is more than just a play on an area code – it was started as a hobby with family and friends. Today we are not making wine but we will again someday! At 509 I was responsible for running a boutique winery with a Tasting Room in Fremont, WA. Took a concept and operationalized it including creating a unique brand, compelling labels, and small but discerning clientele base. We made limited quantities of delicious wine, learned a lot of life lessons along the way and we know this: we love great tasting wines, we know how to make them.
