Having worked with dynamic growing businesses, for over 30 years, I see all of the skills and talents need to grow, in the Albatross team. At Albatross capital we offer specialist lending in the UK. We have a range of products to meet our clients needs and apply a flexible approach, so we don’t force clients into our product’s, but flex what we have to meet our clients needs. Our only aim is to make the deal happen. Speed and clarity, with honest communication, ( saying no is hard but sometimes it needs to be said) is key, as often time is critical. Our clients and our trusted brokers rely on our consistent and can do attitude and we work hard to ensure they receive the service they deserve.

I lead a core group of 14 partners, directors and senior managers across all service lines. As a team, we provide services including:- audit- assurance- corporate tax- indirect tax (including VAT and duty)- employment services (including payroll, employment tax, share scheme, defined benefit pension scheme and related advice)- corporate finance (including fundraising, IPO and M&A activities).I have attended a major education programme at INSEAD looking into the challenges and opportunities facing manufacturers operating in an international environment.

I am a senior audit partner at BDO LLP based in the Guildford office. I have more than 30 years’ experience in business assurance and advisory. I have a broad portfolio of clients from OMBs to listed and large private groups. I have extensive experience in working with growing businesses and understand the challenges and opportunities that growth provides. I pride myself in “saying it as it is” and being available throughout the growth process to assist my clients in any way that is required.I am a strong supporter of MSBs and their important role in the UK economy, my client portfolio spans a range of industries with a particular focus on the manufacturing and construction sectors, with clients across international boundaries and with operations around the world, successfully ensuring the co-ordination and delivery of service across the BDO international network.My client base is broad including national and international groups including listed, private equity backed and owner managed businesses. Personally, I provide assurance and audit services and support my clients with their growth plans. My clients include F M Conway Group, T Brown, Biwater , Getty Images and F5 for example.

I undertook two international secondments in Saudi Arabia and Switzerland.

ICAEW trainee during which time I qualified as an ACA.

I undertook a sandwich course that included a year in industry working with Quilter, the investment management company that is now part.
