Working within the Data Governance team and satellite projects.Initially ran PoC testing on Data Governance software. Moved on to being responsible for the Data Quality, Exclusion Rules and Matching Logic and Survivorship (merging) for Golden Record (Single Customer View). This also involved working with the Data Integrity team to define operational processes for handling close matches, data quality improvements and continuous improvement of customer data.

Leading the technical analysis of data used by the Group Finance teams to discover where data is sourced from. This work involves systems analysis for the processing of data and mapping of Risks and Controls in a SOX-style documentation set for IMAP and the wider Finance Team.Our team is recognised as a high-performing team able to break-down and understand the complexities of a company with such a large legacy of acquisitions. This team is successful due to the highly-skilled specialist resources all able to bring their own unique talents to the team and co-operate to deliver detailed, accurate documentation.My role also encompasses liaising with the domain architects to feedback any relevant information discovered to feed into the newly established Enterprise Architecture tool (Orbus iServer). This work will add value to the Group as a whole, rather than being kept as an isolated piece of analysis.Additionally, worked with the Group Data Governance team who are working on GDPR. I have assisted in sharing knowledge gathered from our work and applying it to the GDPR requirements. By doing this I have been able to flag key risks to ensure they are fully investigated. Working closely with the Senior Manager for Risk Data to create Data Management Policies, Standards and Procedures for the Treasury and Risk Data team. Data Quality Framework created (in line with DAMA) to embed new standards in order to facilitate setting up a Data Quality Monitoring capability. Working with colleagues responsible for delivery of data to the business area to ensure both data and metadata is to the standard required by various relevant regulations such as IRB and IFRS9. Data Analyst (and Business Analyst) for the Solvency II Data Quality and Governance Project.Work has included requirements gathering, process definition and standards definition to ensure that the division is going to be able to meet Solvency II regulatory requirements.Continued use of Trillium Discovery to profile data, find issues in data and investigate with Subject Matter Experts.SAS was employed to embed and monitor Data Quality Rules to ensure compliance with SII requirements. My role in this was to develop SQL-based rule to test the quality of the data.Continued definition of business processes and of business/validation rules to ensure Solvency 2 data is Complete, Appropriate and Accurate.
