Reporting to the VP, Deputy CIO I am responsible for the Global Operations of all aspects of Support and Operations of a Global Platform and Team. Directed IT Operations for global infrastructure across 60 offices, including helpdesk support, systems design and operations, problem resolution and DR/BC design and planning. Reduced wireless spend 50% through contract negotiations. Reduced system platforms by over 50% through consolidation and virtualization. Established Co-Location infrastructure to lower IT risk and consolidate infrastructure by 60%. Relocated two corporate offices over consecutive weekends impacting 800+ users. Implemented state of the art Cisco Spark technologies as well as a secure campus wide wireless network. Migrated multiple call centers handling PII information to a state of the art FISMA Moderate platform hosted on AWS GovCloud. Established a team culture of several subsidiary integrations where team members thrived, and silos were broken down to consolidate IT departments into one.

 Led 30+ direct reports charged with supporting systems in > 50 offices worldwide as well as a workforce of ~2500 users. Worked closely with staff during departure of main IT Lead during an acquisition. Integrated the remaining employees into their new environment and new team with continues to excel as a team. Established an outsourced helpdesk based out of the Dominican Republic to expand capability at lower cost. Upgraded to a new Global Single Sign on System based from SAML with support to >20 corporate applications. Implemented a cloud-based CISCO UCS phone solution to all offices globally that increased employee productivity and collaboration. Developed an “Office in a Box”, a logistics process for IT equipment to expedite the startup process of up to 10 new offices/year while simultaneously closing an equal number of offices. Offices were fully operational within 1 day and automation saved approximately $100K/year. Centralized system monitoring to identify problem areas. Implemented SolarWinds in a global setting configured for 800+ endpoints across 40 countries. Enabled global system monitoring to contain trouble areas, streamline labor to focus areas, and provide metrics around system performance. Worked with Verizon Wireless and AirWatch to secure a lower cost rate and have a centralized mobile device management platform. Lowered the mobile spend by 25% and provided a secure and automated way to deploy and manage mobile devices.

 Managed ~10 Helpdesk staff and 8 Network/Sysadmin staff. Implemented a FISMA Moderate On-Premise Analytical Computing environment comprised of SAS, Stata and NVivo. Designed and implemented a new NetBackup environment with backup to disk and data deduplicating capabilities. Backup success rates were consistently at 98%. Deployed a global SCCM solution to over 40 countries for desktop and server patch management and reporting.
