After bringing on a co-founder in the spring of 2015 we took the idea to startup accelerators and were accepted into Flashstarts in Cleveland, Ohio.Based on feedback from the accelerator, our team pivoted MaterialHawk to Colign, a marketplace for technology transfer. During the 2 month accelerator program I oversaw a team of six interns as well as recruited a third co-founder to serve as CTO.Unfortunately, Colign ran out of funding in October of 2015 before officially launcing but the experience was incredibly beneficial and many invaluable lessons were taught most notability the importance of running lean whether with a startup, professionals, or in my personal life.
