I provided support to grade school students in performance of STEM modules designed to introduce engineering terms and concepts..This consists of managing a classroom environment and performing various engineering related projects utilizing both hands-on and virtual crafting. Modules introduce students to Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Marine, Mechanical, and Aerospace terms and concepts.

I provided expertise in the characterization of geological features such as salt bodies to generate acoustical velocity models vital to successful generation of superior seismic images for identification of likely locations for oil and gas exploration. This involves iterative time -> depth migration of the seismic data needed to properly represent the geological structures.Specifically, I worked on several major surveys in the Gulf of Mexico and offshore Brazil mapping salt structures in 3D focusing on complicated overhang complexes and carbonate beds.

I provided expertise in acoustical data processing to generate seismic information enabling the identification of likely locations for oil and gas exploration. This involves the mathematical manipulation of large amounts of raw data to remove noise as well as any adjustments needed to properly represent the geological structure.Projects I worked on were located in several areas of the Gulf of Mexico, offshore Brazil, and offshore Guyana.

• Managed 18-22 engineers and 2 technical administrative employees in a team environment supporting Mission Control – Houston.• Supported on average ~500 hours annually in Mission Control as an ISS flight controller.• Responsible for performance reviews, awards and recognition, interviewing and hiring, and training and mentoring of employees.• Partnered with the NASA customer concerning personnel assignments, special planning assessments and evaluations, process issues and improvements, and employee morale events.• Provided Mission Operation Directorate (MOD) representation to the International Space Station (ISS) Requirements Integration Panel and was responsible in coordination of programmatic changes concerning resource use (crew time, power, stowage, video, Extra Vehicular Activity time) onboard the ISS.• Completed University of Houston’s Leadership and Management certification.

• Responsible for a team of controllers generating the planning products used by the ISS astronauts and the control centers in Houston (Tx), Huntsville (Ala), Moscow (Russia), Munich (Germany), and Tsukuba (Japan).• Integrates programmatic requirements for ISS operations with International Partner planning representatives concerning system and payload operations. • Coordinates with ISS system specialists the required activities and any associated constraints for each day of operations.• Certified as a “front room” ISS flight controller since 1999. • Supported all crewed ISS Expeditions as well as several additional Shuttle missions on console. • Lead assignments include the shuttle mission STS-88 (the first assembly mission for ISS), Houston Support Group (HSG) Planner in Mission Control Center - Moscow (MCC-M) during 3 months of unmanned ISS operations, the shuttle mission STS-108 (the first utilization flight to ISS), and the lead for the fourth crewed 6 month ISS expedition (Expedition IV). • Supported on average 1000 hours annually in Mission Control prior to becoming a manager in the group.

• Supported the Space Shuttle Program Office as a Shuttle Payload Interface Control Document (ICD) book manager. • Managed the integration documents of numerous payloads including the Wake Shield Facility (WSF), Advanced Communication Technology Satellite/Transfer Orbit Stage (ACTS/TOS), Flight Tele-Robotic Servicer (FTS), and the ISS US LAB Module. • Provided technical review of major projects concerning the automated development of Integration Control Documents (ICD) and Shuttle Operations and Maintenance Requirements and Specifications Document (OMRSD) documentation. • Participated in several process improvement initiatives including the creation of the Payload Integration Library System (PILS), an electronic library that transitioned technical documents from a mainframe repository to a server structure as well as the re-hosting of an EMI/EMC assessment program from a mainframe to a desktop environment.
