BrightKnight was founded in April 2017 as an independent start-up by Belfius Bank to commercialize its own digital initiatives. The bank’s initial goal was to find new sources of income by establishing new start-ups (called ‘The Studio’). I was assigned by Belfius Bank to support the early ‘appointed’ managing director (i.e. Bruno Segers) in founding the start-up ‘BrightKnight’. Once the start-up proved to be successful (+/- 9 months) I was granted a management position to lead the ‘Sales & Marketing’ and be the strategic advisor to the (newly appointed) managing director thanks to my in-depth market insights and first-hand experiences from the earlier days.

Coached & presented recommendations in lean thinking to reduce operational costs with 15% over a time span of 2 years;• Supported the head of Strategy of a multinational energy provider in drafting recommendations for entering the new biofuels & biogas market.
