I have an extensive background in multi-asset investment research and portfolio construction and have advised major institutions, pension funds and family offices. Qualified to QCF level 7 Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Wealth Manager and level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing. I am looking to expand my advisory portfolio of non-executive director and investment committee roles.After an early career in the commodity markets (coffee exporting in Rwanda and metals futures trading in London) I worked as a floor trader on the London International Financial Futures Exchange. I moved to Goldman Sachs Investment Research as a macro strategist in 2001, then joined the macro hedge fund Caxton in 2009. In 2016 I was headhunted to a single-family office as Chief Investment Officer to manage their trust portfolios. In 2023 I was elected as a lay member of the Chichester Diocesan Synod. I also sit on the Diocesan Asset Committee which is responsible for managing the portfolio of regional real estate, listed bonds and equities. In 2024 I became a trustee of the Edward James Foundation which oversees strategy for the rural West Dean Estate and College of Arts and Conservation in the South Downs National Park. I have been a member of the CFA Institute for over 20 years and currently act as a mentor to CFA candidates.
