Gained valuable experience in the construction of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs), Water Dams, and Heap Leach Pads, working with a diverse range of clients in the Resources Industry around the world.- Constructed a multitude of tailings dams, water dams and process ponds in Africa including Senegal, Burkina Faso and Congo, and in Asia including Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan. - Constructed tailings dams and conducted materials testing in Australia, in both Western Australia and New South Wales.- Coordinated, communicated, and facilitated with a range of clients and contractors to ensure quality and safe construction. - Provided Quality Assurance engineering using industry standard best practices, learning from experienced mentors and working in pressured environments.- Worked with different people from a plethora of backgrounds, learning languages such as French and Bahasa, experiencing many cultures, and working as a team to undertake site projects.Also contributed as a Design Engineer, applying fundamental engineering principles and utilising various software packages to bring forward solution-focused thinking for the Client.- Was involved in tailings management design, sediment control, surface water management and hydrology, geotechnical design and site investigations, seepage and slope stability analysis, monitoring instrumentation, drainage design, dam break analysis, culvert design and more.- Design levels varied from scoping study through to issued-for-construction for various mining projects, often requiring technical skills, reading and writing engineering reports, technical memos, performing calculations, and conducting research.- Gained a new appreciation for engineering design, and the complexity required to carry out world class engineering projects.

- Managed a civil works project from planning through to completion, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget. Gained critical experience in transferrable skills such as project management, teamwork and communication. - Actively engaged in engineering design, overlooking quality control, project team communication and project timelines for drainage, road engineering and pavers (footpaths) projects. Coordinated meetings and was involved in site visits to facilitate smooth project delivery.

• Tutored a group of Indigenous students in university level courses as part of the ‘Indgenius Program’, individually mentoring them to achieve high academic proficiency.• The courses being tutored included Statistics for Science, Mathematical Methods 1 and Environmental Science, and included both Engineering as well as Science students.

• Tutored school students for over 2 and a half years in English and Mathematics courses, along with assisting them in developing effective problem solving techniques.• Documented the students’ progress and test results in providing them with constructive feedback and ways to implement knowledge gained at school.
