Managed Services DBA at ClaremontI am part of a DBA team that supports a number of Oracle eBusiness Suite environments on Linux, Windows, AIX and Solaris on Oracle VM and Oracle KVMI have carried out multiple 12.2 eBusiness Suite and 19c database upgrades

I was an Oracle Apps DBA part of CGI's HR Outsourcing practiceI was responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of a number of Oracle HR/Payroll eBusiness Suite systems on 12.0.6/10gR2 and 12.1.3/11gR1 using SSO, Discoverer and OBIAI was lead DBA on a project to implement Oracle Financials, Payroll and HR on 12.1.3/11gR2 on AIX(Note that CGI took over Logica Aug 2012)

I was an Oracle DBA for a variety of clients and systems.I provided DBA support for a number Oracle systems on an array of platforms and infrastructures as part of a multi-client DBA support team - Windows/UNIX; Oracle 7,8,8i,9i,10g and 11g; RAC; Dataguard; Exadata; Oracle eBusiness Suite; Oracle Application Server; Weblogic; bespoke front-endsThe eBusiness Suite systems included:1) A single-tier Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.7) installation, using Financials2) A Customer Data Hub application. A multi-tier Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.10) installation, using Oracle Customers Online on Exadata.3) A CRM 11i (11.5.3) installation. I provided consultancy for the on-site DBA team on the best practices and methodologies for carrying out an 11i upgrade. I then determined the optimal upgrade path to 11.5.10 and applied this to a development environment as a Proof of Concept.4) An HR/Payroll application. A multi-tier Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.10.2) installation using HR/Payroll. I applied the implementation of the year-end mandatory legislative patching as well as the day-to-day DBA and functional support. I acted as the lead DBA in upgrading the system from 11.5.9/9.2.0.8 to 11.5.10/10.2.0.4.5) A single-tier Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.8) installation, using products Financials and Procurement. In this role, I carried out Apps DBA support and was the lead DBA on a project plan to re-implement the system on new hardware on Release 12.1.3

Oracle Functional Support Consultant/Developer/Apps DBAI took a leading technical role in an 11.5.7 to 11.5.10 upgrade of a multi-tier public sector installation of Oracle Applications.I also acted as Oracle Applications DBA, Functional Analyst and Developer for a variety of other 11i systems (11.5.3 through to 11.5.9) with GL, AP, FA, PO, iProcurement, Public Sector, ADI, Discoverer, Workflow and Cash Management,I made use of Oracle Forms 6i, Reports 6i, Workflow Builder, PL/SQL and SQL to deliver a number of customised and bespoke reports, customisations to standard Oracle Forms as well as wide-ranging changes to the standard Workflows in response to customer requirements.I was also involved in the planning, implementation and support of a series of major system upgrades:1) 10.7 to 11.5.7 re-implementation1) 11.5.4 to 11.5.6 applications upgrade;2) 11.5.6 to 11.5.9 applications upgrade;3) 8.0.6 to 8.1.7 database upgrade;4) 8.1.7 to 9.2.0 database upgrade;5) Implementation of new modules (OPM, AR, INV);6) Application of latest product minipacks/family packs.
