CurrentThree years of excellence providing oversight for large public events with up to 200K attendees for PR and event management firm. • Manage events from conception to completion including theme development, venue selection including site surveys, and event logistics including security ad permitting.• Oversee event calendar, direct vendor relations including negotiations, deliver integrated event communications and messaging, ensure proper event staffing, perform post-event analysis, and author related reporting.• Provide oversight of event staff of up to 50 including contracted freelance personnel, manage individual and team performances, and ensure excellence in event execution and delivery of client services.• Prospect new opportunities, manage client and strategic partnership relationships, author proposals, and manage client expectations through event development, production and related reporting.• Deliver complete event management services from concept to completion including sponsorship development, strategic event communications, event logistics, event messaging and signage, entertainment and talent booking, security including event permitting, and interfaces with all local law enforcement and civic authorities to ensure a safe event. Events Include:*San Diego Restaurant Week: Biannual event featuring over 210 restaurants, 180K diners and eight days of dining. *San Diego Shamrock, Music Festival: St. Patrick’s Day festival with 20K attendees and 4-stages across eight city blocks.*La Mesa Octoberfest: Three-day Festival with over 100K attendees, music, food, and family activities*San Diego Mardi Gras: One of the top Mardi Gras in the world with 40K attendees and five stages of music.*Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo: Three-day festival with 200K in attendees.*San Diego Pride Festival: Three-day Festival with over 140K attendees.*La Jolla Concours de’Elegance: World-renowned classic car show including a weekend of VIP Parties, receptions, tour.
