Responsible for implementing policies concerning welfare, job satisfaction, utilization and training of commissioned and noncommissioned officers. Managed and supervised a staff of 85 personnel from diverse cultures and backgrounds that centralized administration and support functions, economized resources and provided a common pool of experts to support the submarines and staffs of Submarine Squadron's 17 and 19, visiting and other assigned units, including submarines at Puget Sound Naval Ship Yard.Was the principal advisor to the group Commander (Admiral) providing sage advice and insight into the daily affairs, many of which required interaction with the public or Media. Often providing written material for briefs and speeches on topics ranging from the good things Sailors do to the absolute worse a Sailor can do. Providing a factual statement to the media or public, while protecting the nonparticipants, families and victims.

Senior Enlisted Leader responsible for the management of a cadre of top performing Senior Enlisted Leaders from diverse cultures and backgrounds in the daily execution of administrative control over 23 subordinate organizations. Planned work schedules, assigned work, clarified instructions, developed internal training plans, approved leave, initiated recognition for outstanding performance, resolved disputes, and recommended disciplinary action as appropriate. Monitored employee training and qualifications. Interpreted and ensured compliance with safety and security regulations, directives, instructions, and procedures. Identified safety concerns and recommended solutions.Coached and mentored 23 senior supervisors assigned to subordinate organizations.Identified and implemented creative solutions to ensure the ONE TEAM concept, insuring the Repair Facility, Weapons Facility, Training Facility and Stakeholders were able to successfully provide the best support possible to each tended unit. Interpreted and ensured compliance with safety, security and environmental policies, regulations, directives, instructions and procedures. Identified project safety concerns and recommended solutions. Worked closely with management and personnel to address and/or correct project safety issues including hazardous conditions, operations, and procedures.

Identified project safety concerns and recommended solutions. Planned schedules for concurrent projects, established priorities on basis of general project schedules, methods and instructions; determined equipment, manpowerrequirements, and necessary trade assistance; estimated project length; considered skills required and instructed employees on work requirements and procedures; discussed, explained, and interpreted guidelines and work processes; ensured plans, materials, and tools were available, and that needed supplies and materials were obtained from supply locations; defined standards of quality and quantity of work performed. Coordinated work processes with all personnel impacted by project to avoid down time. Inspected work in progress and upon completion.
