Responsibility for the sales and delivery of foreign exchange products and risk management solutions for Small to Medium size businesses customers (SME’s) nationally. This included the ownership and management of Westpac’s discount foreign exchange platform XYLO Foreign Exchange.Responsibilities included:• Leadership and management of a team of 8 Sales Staff / Dealers and 6 national Business Development Managers• Recruiting, Mentoring, Coaching and Development of staff to perform current role and grow into more senior roles. (I have successfully done this over many years and numerous staff from my teams have been promoted)• Working closely with customers, stakeholders and key business partners including back office support areas, technology, project and development teams,credit, legal, AML / CTF, compliance and branch managers to run and continually improve and enhance the application• Represent the business on project teams as a project manager and subject matter expert to offer foreign exchange through other mediums to allow more customers to transact their foreign exchange with Westpac electronically• Working with internal and external marketing teams to promote the application and use tools such as search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimisation (SEO)• Using Management Information Systems (MIS) to extract and analyse data to find opportunities to grow the businessKey Achievements• Drive growth through enhancing the application, automating functions where possible and simplifying processes• Constant income growth of 20-30% per annum• Achieving a rate of over 90% of transactions being captured online

Lead responsibility for development, enhancement and support for Financial Markets Foreign Exchange electronic dealing applications. The dealing applications serviced clients across all segments of the market from small local retail clients and branches through to the global fund managersKey Achievements • Built XYLO Foreign Exchange from the ground up. This involved all aspects of commencing a new online business from registering trading names, branding, look and feel, through to web site development, workflows, testing and lodgement• Built a strong team of vendor, contractor, business and technical staff that worked together to achieve the common goal of delivering the project• Implementation of electronic dealing systems across all market segments which meant that all Westpac customers could transact foreign exchange with Westpac electronically regardless of their complexity, size, or global location• Using the Agile and Scrum methodology where possible

Key responsibilities were the ongoing development and enhancements of the Online Foreign Exchange application along with marketing the application to customers.

Project was established to build a system that would allow clients to complete their foreign exchange transactions and make their overseas payments with Westpac electronically rather than the phone based dealing system they were using at the time.Key Achievements• Delivery of the Online Foreign Exchange application into production which allowed clients to transact their foreign exchange with Westpac electronically
