I have worked in various business roles since leaving school in 1980 but predominantly at the intersection between the business units and the technologists.Following a heart attack in 2008 I have been increasingly looking for ways to put something meaningful back into society. When the role at CAFOD came up it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Working for an International aid charity was an opportunity to take my career in a new and an exciting direction, working to support a set of values that are very close to my heart.The consulting company I ran for a number of years, Gordian Enterprises, has inevitably had to close following this change of direction.
