I am a data scientist with a background in astrophysics. I have extensive experience with data reduction and analysis, and statistical methods within the python programming language.Software Expertise: python, including the pydata stack (numpy, scipy, pandas, etc), C/cython, Linux/bash scripting, LaTex/Markdown document formatting.Skills: linear/nonlinear regression, bayesian inference techniques, classification and clustering methods, open source code development and publication.In addition to the numerous scientific results of my astrophysical research, I released an open source code to model the telluric absoption features from the Earth's atmosphere, which acts as a contaminant in astronomical observations.
