Engineering Design Experience:1) Designed Systems that satisfy FINCH requirements for SD Card- Gained Embedded Design experience by programming Image Acquisition with STM32H7 using Direct Memory Access and Digital Camera Memory Interface module- Worked with FLIR Tau Shortwave Infrared Camera for Hyperspectral Image Acquisition- Improved Embedded Skills by completing implementation of SD Card storage with STM32H7 and Direct Memory Access in C, achieving a top speed of 23.90 MBps compared to the theoretical 25 MBps limit- Implemented the CCSDS-B-2 Standard for Lossless Hyperspectral Image Compression in C, - Promoted Collaboration and Critique by inviting Design Feedback through Presentations and Open Discussions- Promoting Teamwork and Growth through Mentorship of newer members- Presented designs at the Team's Critical Design Review, which invited industry professionals to critique designs

Research Project conducted as part of the University of Toronto Aerospace Team's Policy and Law Division. My role consisted of conducting literature reviews, analyzing different alternatives and making a recommendation for the final simulation.1) Genetic Algorithm (GA)Explored the effect of genetic variety, elitism, randomness, and various crossover algorithms. 2) Minimum Spanning Trees (MST)Implemented a solution for the Travelling Salesman Problem using MST.3) Ant Colony OptimizationResearched and Implemented an Ant Colony Optimization Model for solving the Travelling Salesman Problem, which was then adapted for simulating UAS Integrated Last Mile Delivery. In addition, I proposed the high-level system architecture for the simulation, which acquired OpenStreetMap data, applies Policy restrictions, initializes physical parameters, and runs the simulation, yielding results.The research paper was accepted for presentation at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Aviation Forum 2024,I presented the technical section of the paper, as well as the results obtained from running sensitivity analyses of energy with respect to drone speed, package weight, and no-fly zones. We were able to show that UAS regulations, especially no-fly zones significantly reduce the drone's ability to deliver packages, increasing energy consumption overall.
