Kevin joined Roark Capital in 2019. He brings thirty years of experience leading businesses and functions across a number of diverse industries. Kevin is a member of Roark's investment committee, and is actively invovled in Roark's investments in Pet Valu (TSX: Pet), PartsTown, OrangeTheory Fitness, GoTo Foods, Self Esteem Brands, and Fitness Connection.Before joining Roark he spent thirteen years with The Home Depot, his last role being President, where he oversaw the strategy, sales, and operations of the company’s digital efforts. In his six years as President the team grew in size / scale from $1B to being the one of the largest digital / omni-channel retail operations in the country (trailing only Amazon & Walmart).Concurrent with this role he also served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Home Depot, overseeing the strategic branding and marketing direction of the company. The Home Depot is a top 30 brand with ~$1B in advertising spend. Previously, he led Home Depot’s Home Services businesses, the largest home services business in the country with $4B in sales & 30,000 in-home construction projects per week. Kevin joined The Home Depot in 2006 as a company officer, where he led technology teams focused on merchandising, stores, e-commerce, supply chain, and the company's international divisions. Prior to joining Home Depot, Kevin spent ten years with GE, where he held CIO & CTO roles in a number of GE businesses (Healthcare, Renewables, Energy and GE Global Research). He started his career and spent eight years with Dow Chemical.
