Having left FNX in 1996, a relationship was maintained with FNX throughout the years, joint venturing on many key applications as part of Dimensia. These include the Treasury Risk Blotter, the SierraLink integration framework, the FX Scratch Pad application used by Bank of America, the Cayman product for web-based real-time margin trading.In 2005, FNX was preparing for an acquisition search and requested my return as CTO to shape and articulate FNX's technology vision to potential acquirers, and to help increase sales and margins. FNX successfully increased revenues and profitability during this period and FNX was successfully acquired by GL TRADE, a French publicly traded company, in February of 2007 at a $40MM valuation. Subsequent to acquisition, my role transitioned to CTO of the GL TRADE Capital Markets Solutions (CMS) group to effect technological and procedural merging as several other groups were folded into our CMS group.

A customer of Dimensia, iCare provides ASP-based tele-medecine solutions. iCare's founder, Dr. Dan Davis, has won awards for his concepts for computer automation of medical processes and cost-reductions by forging ahead with technology-based remote medicine. This work was done as a partnership with my company, Dimensia, Inc.

Orlin Grabbe as part of Laissez-Faire City (LFC). Based on earlier concepts put forth by Stefan Brands system of Digital Cash, and a precursor to bitcoin which added decentralized blockchain technology.- Numerous technology investment assessments for VC firms and other investors.- Technology focus on n-tier, distributed component, service-oriented, platform neutral systems using OO, UML, Java, C++, .NET, J2EE, ODBC, JDBC, XML, etc.

Led development of Bdellium portfolio optimization implementation, which included weighted historical correlation analysis engine (implementing and correcting Bdellium's DART algorithm), clustering algorithms (based upon the original Fortran PAM implementation - Partitioning Around Medoids) and other supporting libraries. I directly developed the statistical libraries in C++, and ported the Fortran PAM implementation to C++, while I managed the development team for the remainder of the build. This work was done as a partnership with my company, Dimensia, Inc.

- Develop HBR’s long term technical strategy focusing on improving technology for its members and generating revenue from development of technology products and services.- Create HBR’s presence on the Web.- Manage a team of fourteen within three departments which focused on managing HBR’s Multi Listing Service (MLS) System, acquisition of Public Records data for HBR’s InTax System, Statistical Research for Real Estate in Honolulu, Product Development and Marketing.NOTE: Left this position to start another company, but consulted to HBR and related organization (HAR - Hawaii Association of Realtors) on an ongoing basis.

- Managed Technology & Product Development for FNX's Trading & Risk Management Product Line- Product Architect & Development of Real-Time Risk Analysis Blotters across the product line for high-volume trading and risk management of numerous financial instruments, e.g. foreign exchange, commodities, interest rates, equities, ETO derivatives, and exotic OTC derivatives.- Analysis and design of FNX's next generation Sierra product based upon a distributed component n-tier architecture. GUI based clients would communicate with intermediate calculation and summary servers and back-end data servers to produce real-time risk analysis. Cross instrument integration would also be supported, e.g. analyzing and hedging foreign exchange risk produced by foreign bond trading, etc.NOTE: Left this position to move back to Hawaii, but maintained equity partnership within the company through ultimate sale of FNX in 1998 at a valuation of $120MM.

- Migration of FX System’s Foreign Exchange trading/risk management system from a single user DOS platform to a multi-user Sun platform. System developed in C using dBase IV and ported in C to SunOS using Faircom’s cTree database. - System Administration of UNIX and Novell Networks.

- On-Site DRC representative to AIG Auto Insurance. Manage AIG Auto's data center operations, installation and phased upgrades of HP minicomputers, LAN and WAN communications, interfaces to legacy systems. Consult with AIG on DRC software installation and upgrade support, in-house QA, response center and disaster recovery. - Systems management and installation of the DRC Insurance System and its platform which consisted of an HP3000/960 and 950 on a network of 300+ PC workstations. Workstations were simultaneously linked to the HP and an IBM3090 via token ring over 3270 gateways. HP3000s batch communications with the 3090 were implemented over an SNA link. Intra-day recovery supported through Mirrored Disks and CPU switch over. Remote users gained access via leased lines and X.25 networks. - Manage operations on Wang imaging system. - HP to IBM communications programming & development of operational utilities.
