Associate Civil Engineer
Current- Project Engineer for a capital improvement project (Planning, Design and Construction phases) which constructs 36-inch to 54-inch RCP combined sewer pipelines via open-cut and trenchless tunneling methods. Scope also includes 8-inch DIP water distribution main replacement and construction of a new high pressure 36-inch WSP water transmission main as well as significant paving throughout.- Project Engineer for an outfall rehabilitation project which replaces a butterfly valve, in-line check valve, constructs a new baffle, relief weir, and repairs concrete spalling. Additionally, install new pressure sensors, control panel and hydraulic power unit to actuate butterfly valves.- Develop drawings, specifications, reports, engineering calculations, cost estimates, design schedules, and presentations for planning, design, and construction of various infrastructure projects- Present reports, project updates, modeling results, and presentations to management and other stakeholders- Prepare and analyze 1D/2D hydrologic & hydraulic models to support infrastructure improvements, new developments, and regulatory needs inclusive of EPA discussions and reporting- Analyze large datasets with MS Access, Excel, VBA, and ArcGIS - rain data, asset management, etc- Manage and work with consultants and other City agencies to administer Flood Grant Programs and the 100-year Flood Risk Map of San Francisco
