As the Human Resources Manager, California (Commerce/Gallo) I partner with on-site and remote teams working across the state of California. The full scope of HR disciplines include Labor Relations, Succession Planning, Talent Management, Employee Relations and Legal Compliance/DOT.

As the Senior Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager for Thai Union North America, I manage the HR function for the Thai Union North America team. This includes, performance reviews, budget reviews, employee relations, company culture, organizational development, career mapping and succession planning, etc. In addition, I oversee and manage all full-cycle recruiting efforts for the entire North America organization. Responsibilities include, sourcing, posting, interviewing, vendor management, on-boarding, salary analysis, salary negotiation, resume review, scheduling, training, determining budget/ROI, and implementing best practices. Maintained up to 60 open requisitions and managed HR and Recruiting efforts at 2 corporate offices and 3 temp office locations simultaneously.

My role at LTFA is to create and build out all domestic Human Resources policies and procedures. Due to the company's immense and recent growth, and lack of a previously dedicated Head of HR, I am excited to build this department from the ground up, while tapping into the support of a collaborative and welcoming executive team and a passionate employee base. On a daily basis, I remain committed to establishing and maintaining a company culture dedicated to an exceptional employee experience by focusing on the progression of employment from on-boarding to exit for all staff members. In addition to running the Human Resources Department, I have a dual responsibility as lead for all recruiting efforts.

At Teleflora, I directed the Human Resources team, company practices & policies, objectives and day-to-day management of the Human Resource department that supports over 700 employees in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Additionally, I maintained departmental budgetary responsibility, and worked with our corporate recruiting, legal and benefits & wellness teams. I was asked to carry out responsibilities for training and organizational development including assisting in the creation, design and the delivery of training and education of Teleflora employees at all levels. Such programs included HRIS management systems, ADP professional suite, on-boarding and off-boarding, performance review processes, management training, compensation analysis, conducting workplace investigations, and best practices sessions. On a daily basis, I used my ability to present material in an exciting, informative manner that engaged the participants and made working at Teleflora an enjoyable, engaging, and vibrant experience.

Over the past several years, I have handled all Human Resources-related reponsibilities. I've spearheaded the recruitment, hiring, and off-boarding of all employees, conducted performance reviews, negotiated employees' salaries and terms of employment, developed and created company culture events, maintained all payroll and employee files, processed the entire company's bi-weekly payroll submissions, and I had full budgetary responsibility of the HR/Operations Dept. and created employees hours/projects reports and metrics for the Finance Dept. I worked daily with a compensation management software and HRIS system. Managed external recruiters, vendors and employee immigration/Visa process. I hold current memberships with SHRM, BLR and other Human Resources affiliates.I managed the entire Customer Service Dept., analyzed work flow process, implemented best practices, provided coaching, trainings, and led weekly meetings. I have possessed full ownership of company's 401k and annual Pension Plan. Processed internal audits of our workers' compensation insurance and EDD compliance. I report directly to the WPS President/CEO and assist in the company's day to day operational needs and strategic brainstorming sessions. Additionally, I had proudly been the driving force behind WPS's repeated placement among "The Top 100 Best Companies to Work at in Los Angeles", directed a Culture Fit Interview process and the Employee Orientation Day from scratch. Created an annual Dodger Stadium outing and a Bring Your Kids to Work Day. I have worked with the ACEs committee and was an active member of the Special Projects Committee, Sales Development Team, Off-site strategy sessions, Branding Touch Points project, and was a player/coach on several company softball teams.

As the first employee hired, I managed all day-to-day human resources and operational-related responsibilities of an internet start-up. Provided coaching and training to all employees at all level while reporting directly to the COO.Oversaw and managed multiple sports collectible-related websites. Worked with key buyers and sellers on our C2C websites. Handled top accounts (Power Users) and looked to add/grow key users and industry influencers.

Worked with professional athletes/celebrities for public/private autograph appearances.Maintained database of over 250,000 Sports collectible and memorabilia enthusiasts and over 500 current and former professional athletes and sports agencies.Ran, designed and managed a public trade show business. Planned average of 30 events each year. Events were located in Northern & Southern California, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Philadelphia and Hawaii.
