Bachelor in Mathematics. Aspiring data analyst. I've been fascinated by mathematics all my life. Having focused on it throughout my entire career as a student, I'm ready to put what I've learned to use.Even since Kindergarten, I knew math was something I would take an interest in. One day, the class had a day where we dressed as what we wanted to be when we grew up, and we talked to our peers about it. I specifically remember dressing in a tie and blazer, bringing a calculator, and showing the class I knew my "times tables" before I even learned what multiplication really meant. Now, here I am learning how to apply the various facets of math to the real world.I've learned a lot of computational math as well as a great deal of mathematical theory. Throughout my education, what has stuck with me the most is the area of Probability, Statistics, and Data Modeling. I've used software like R and STATA to make predictions using data, run simulations using various probability distributions, and plot trends to make inferences about the effects of different variables on one another.Having gathered these skills, I'm ready to put them to use. I want to make key decisions using what I've learned. Of course I understand the principle of "correlation not causation," but I want to be a cause of success. I want my efforts, my findings, my contributions, my ideas, and my skills to be the reason behind positive change. I want any business I work for to flourish with the help of my influence.
