Kev is a passionate filmmaker dedicated to making a difference in the world using film and telling stories as a powerful vehicle to create high impact social campaigns. His work has gained local and national acclaim and helped raise the profile of numerous social issues working in partnership with 3rd sector organisations and charities including Barnardos & Samaritans.Through both Documentary and Drama he is particularly keen to draw on people’s real life experiences, using a collaborative process of idea development to create profound and moving stories. He gravitates towards creating story-lines and concepts in collaboration with the people closest to an issue and uses the same real people to play the characters in his drama work where possible. Kev’s debut film Inner Sense won a Royal Television Society Award for Drama and helped to gain him a First Class Degree with Honours from Plymouth University.Since then he has taken his passion for telling stories and applied it to creating an array of creative films and documentaries.
