I am Mathematica's Director of Research and Analytics for a number of federal departments and agencies, including: Justice, Housing and Urban Development, Treasury, Transportation, Commerce, Energy, GSA, CBO, GAO, and CRS. I also serve in this capacity for the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs, focused on human services policy. In that role as Director, I work closely with division leadership to oversee business development and project oversight within these areas. I am also the company’s representative to these federal clients and am responsible for stewarding successful client relationships.I am also a senior manager in Mathematica's Human Services Division, with a focus on data management & analytics. Mathematica has decades of experience offering information and operations management solutions for our clients. Our services make it possible to use business intelligence and data warehousing tools to better understand what is happening within a program. Our methods and approaches are designed to overcome the challenges of effective communication between policy makers, software developers, and reporting entities that has confounded most agencies’ attempts to deliver high quality performance data.I have served as project director for a number of USDA projects focused on the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). I previously was project director for the DOL's Senior Community Service and Employment Program (SCSEP), and continue to support the programs data validation initiative. In addition, I have led and provided senior-level support on projects performing independent verification and validation of state Unemployment Insurance (UI) program data.
