I helped develop, maintain and implement web applications for clients such as Mazda, Chrysler, Ontario Power Generation, Community Care Access Centre, Aviva Canada, FIO Corporation and T.E. Wealth. Using various flavours of Visual Studio, .NET frameworks and SQL Server, I delivered ASP.NET web applications and web services in C# using Webforms, MVC, Telerik Web UI, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and the Entity Framework.

I re-developed the “PolicyManager” healthcare document management application from ColdFusion to ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005 and Crystal Reports. I dealt directly with our clients for installation and technical support, and with hospital Compliance staff and healthcare professionals for day-to-day support and troubleshooting. I attended a major US healthcare exhibition manning a booth to speak with hospital representatives and to demonstrate the software.

Delivered an n-tier smart-client desktop application, for cash position and reconciliation, in C#.NET and SQL Server 2005 to our Chicago-based Harris Bank division. Led a small team in an initiative to redevelop and enhance a list of over 70 individual applications used by the Investment Banking Group back-office staff. The solution we designed was an integrated suite of ASP.NET (VB.NET) Intranet applications. A central platform was built to control user access, house static data (currencies, countries, etc), and link with BusinessObjects XI Enterprise for ad hoc and scheduled reporting. For many years I participated in rotating first-line pager support for Intranet and desktop applications and overnight vendor data feeds. I also helped develop the reporting workflow of the WallStreet front office app rollout to our China offices.Developed a VB6 ETL application to automate the loading of over 30 different feeds data into the vendor application for reconciliation of GL entries and payments.Led a team of four developers in designing, developing, and implementing a sales information system for Capital Markets using Classic ASP, Oracle 9i, and Cognos Impromptu. Built applications using VB6, Crystal Reports, and Attachmate Extra! to automate the duties of back-office staff; FX Interest Rate Risk Reporting, and the automated of release of wire cable payments.

Designed and built Report Direct, an Internet application for correspondent banks to retrieve account balances, transaction details, and monthly statements over the web, using IBM Visual Age C++ and Perl to interface with a Tandem/BESS backend. Created a corporate Internet single-login facility interfacing with RACF to help other corporate groups become web-enabled.Designed and created the group's Windows security and user administration components in VB, involving smart card technology, running on over 2,500 corporate desktops world-wide.Designed, developed, documented, and tested desktop banking applications for the Bank’s corporate clients using Visual Basic, VC/C++, Crystal Reports, and MS Access. These applications included: Foreign Currency Rate Reporting, Letters of Credit, Lockbox Receivables, Stop Payments, EDI, Investment Manager, and Human Resources/Payroll.
